Supporting Documentation on Edward Henry Lincoln (1826-1904)
I know quite a bit about my Lincoln great-great-great-grandparents because of my great-great-grandmother’s own writings to her granddaughter, my grandmother. But those personal remembrances won’t hold up beyond me unless they’re preserved. There is also something to be said about finding the vital records that support the self-reported histories. As I’ve written about previously - sometimes family aren’t the most factual sources.
