A few months ago, while visiting my mother, I was given custody of old letters my late aunt had kept hidden away. Going through the things left behind, my mother realized they had value and passed them to me. I transcribed three letters from 1953 that were written by my great-great-grandmother Emily to my grandmother Alice. Included in the first letter is her handwritten genealogy regarding her grandfather’s siblings, the ancestry of Edward Henry Lincoln.
If you are a cousin, contact me and I’ll send you the PDF of the original scans of the letters directly. Otherwise, the transcriptions are below and on Ko-Fi.
