Follow-up to Edward II research resources
Last month I offered some suggestions for those interested in genealogy during the time of Edward II.
I wanted to follow-up with more information on the historian I mentioned, Kathryn Warner. I began reading her book released last year on the Despenser family, The Rise and Fall of a Medieval Family, and was ecstatic to find that it contains family trees in the beginning.
This is such a huge help as it helps me visualize what I was reading through on her blog and is helping me put that portion of my own tree in order for volume 2 of My Lineage from the Roots Up. I’m hoping it will help those of you interested in this time period as well. This is also why I made and included trees in volume 1 of My Lineage from the Roots Up and am planning to do so as well in volume 2.
