This post outside the range of the normally scheduled program (i.e., Wednesdays) is to thank all of you for subscribing to GenTales. I started this newsletter in December 2021 as a complement to the GenTales publication on Medium, but it’s turned into its own thing - an even bigger thing than the magazine.
The 161 articles, lineages, and sidebars are being read in 9 countries by almost 200 subscribers plus those who find the articles via Google and DuckDuckGo. This month, GenTales is hitting 1000 views/month.
I know a lot of you overlap with the other genealogy and family history-focused Stacks - I just want to say thank you for considering history and family a worthwhile focus even if it’s just for the few minutes you read this or one of the other newsletters each week. I stay encouraged to keep sharing because of you!
If there are any lineages, names, or stories you want to know more about, please leave a comment, send me a message, or tag me in a Note. I’m always looking for new research binges.
Congratulations on your readership stats and thank you ... I look forward to future posts. 😊
Congratulations! Your newsletter was one of the first I subscribed to when I arrived on Substack. I’ve enjoyed it all!
