I started a Lineage Research Quora Space under the Gen Tales banner earlier this year and have fielded the expected questions about genealogy research and haplotypes, and even had to decline posts overshooting the mark on genetics and a few racist questions that were mind-boggling for the 21st century. But lately, I’ve been seeing different kinds of posts — people searching for family.

Here’s a summary of these queries in the hopes that you can help:

-Kathryne Seago was adopted in 1968 in Columbus, Georgia, and she’s trying to find her birth mother.

See her full post here — it’s a public forum, so feel free to respond to her there if you have any information.

-User Poggers217 is looking for the birth records of their great-grandfather Francisco Pozos

See the full post here, along with a picture and detailed information about where they think he was from.

-Another user, Geri, is looking for their own birth records. I’m waiting for them to provide more information, but you can see their post here.

If you are looking for help finding family, the Lineage Research Space may offer you a way to find answers. At least, we’ll do our best.
