Obituaries of the Lincoln-Hobson Family of Iowa and Nebraska
This month’s behind the paywall is documentation. Specifically the obituaries I’ve found for the children of Jane “Jennie” Lincoln (1861-1936) and John Wesley Hobson (1859-1942). The children were all born in Iowa, but the family relocated to Cass County, Nebraska, by 1910.
John Wesley Hobson’s obituary appeared in The Plattsmouth Journal October 22, 1942. Due to copyright, click here to view it. It lists his remaining five children at the time and mentions the loss of three. I have found obituaries for all of them, as well as Jennie.
