Documentation for Lizzie (Adams) Prater (1889-1975) and her husband Dave

Five generations: Flora Jean (Prater) Himes (1939-2006) and her son Gary Himes (1956-2024) stand behind Flora’s father Alfred Prater (1914-1978) and his mother Lizzie (Adams) Prater, who is holding Gary’s eldest son Andrew. October 1974.

I was given the photo above, among others from my grandmother’s house, by my father in 2023. This is the documentation that I have for my great-grandmother Lizzie Adams, who is the woman holding the baby. The photo was taken a year before she died.

Lizzie was the daughter of John Adams and Mandy Williams. She married Dave Prater, the son of Elijah Prater and Zilpha Jane Holbrook.
