Children of Jonah Lincoln (d. 1845) and Lucy Webb (d. 1846)
Jonah Lincoln was born November 15, 1760, in Windham, Connecticut, to John Lincoln and Anna (Martin) Stowell. He married Lucy Webb May 1, 1783, in Scotland, Connecticut. She was born May 30, 1762, in Windham, Connecticut, to John Webb and Ann (Devotion) Webb.
They had at least five surviving children:
1. Dan born July 27, 1786, in Windham, Connecticut. He married Mehetable Flint (1787-1875) in 1812. He died December 31, 1864, and is buried in North Windham Cemetery, North Windham, Connecticut. Their stones are in the previous post on Lincoln graves in North Windham.
2. Stowell born October 28, 1788, in Connecticut. According to Pension files, he fought in the War of 1812. He married Maria Welch (1789-1887) presumably after the war. He died March 29, 1870, and is buried in North Windham Cemetery, North Windham, Connecticut. Their obelisk was in the previous post on Lincoln graves in North Windham.
3. John born February 17, 1791, in Windham, Connecticut. He married Millany Huntington (1792-1872) March 19, 1812, in Windham, Connecticut. He died December 6, 1867, in Wayne Co., Pennsylvania, and is buried in Bolkcom Cemetery.
4. Ralph born December 22, 1792, in Windham, Connecticut. He married Almira Trumbull (1794-1873) March 28, 1816, in Windham, Connecticut. He died June 25, 1876, in Windham, Connecticut, and is buried in North Windham Cemetery, North Windham, Connecticut.
5. Elisha born January 12, 1795, in Windham, Connecticut. He married Elizabeth “Elisa” Pray Aplin (or Alpin) in Windham Co., Connecticut, May 22, 1817. He died August 7, 1850, in Hocking Co., Ohio, and is buried in Morris Chapel Cemetery, Starr, Ohio.
Jonah died May 14, 1845, in Windham, Connecticut, and is buried in North Windham Cemetery.
Lucy died July 23, 1846, and is buried as “Mrs. Lucy Lincoln” in North Windham Cemetery, North Windham, Connecticut.
